Phamingkham means golden thread obtained from the cocoons of silk worms shortly “Muga Silk”. For the past 6 years, Pha Ming Kham has been accepted widely all across Assam and entire North East India. In the process of reviving the Ahom culture and its heritage phamingkham’s collection is mainly based on Muga along with Mulberry and Eri Silk, Tai Ahom Royal Attires, and Assamese Mekhela Chador.
